Job Description

We are a leading global supplier of test and simulation systems. As a Systems Assembly Technician, you will build, repair, diagnose, and test products related to the aerospace, automotive, and biomedical industries.

Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate, and assemble hydro-mechanical subsystems according to engineering blueprints and specifications, bills of materials, and manufacturing process documentation.
• Meet standards for quality, efficiency, and schedule.
• Interpret engineering documents to determine results and processes.
• Use hand tools, specialized tooling, and basic measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair new and customer hydro-mechanical subsystems.
• Diagnose problems and develop solutions to resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate to maintain accuracy of documents and records per company policies.
• Initiate modifications and/or improvements to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Actively and accurately execute non-conforming materials process.

Essential Skills

• Understanding of hydro-mechanical technologies.
• Understanding of hydraulic schematics, hydraulic flow characteristics, tube & hose sizing, proper sealing characteristics, basic structural integrity, quality, and safety in designs.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools, specialized tooling, and basic measuring equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
