Solar EPC Sales Manager

Our client is a trusted leader in utility-scale solar construction with a strong foundation in civil work for large-scale renewable projects. As they expand into full turnkey EPC services for projects under 50MW, they are seeking an experienced Solar EPC Sales
Manager
to drive new business and build long-term partnerships with developers, IPPs, and key industry stakeholders.


The Solar EPC Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing EPC contracts for projects in the 5–50MW range. This role requires a dynamic sales professional with a proven ability to generate new business, maintain strong client relationships, and support the solar team throughout the pre-award phase. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the solar industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that contribute to company growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with developers, IPPs, and other stakeholders to secure new EPC contracts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company’s presence in the 5–50MW project market.
  • Track business development efforts, maintain CRM records, and report on sales success rates.
  • Stay informed on solar policies, market trends, and incentive programs to identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful project handoffs to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align sales objectives with company capabilities and project execution strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain an organized approach to tracking BD budgets and ensuring effective follow-ups with prospective clients.


Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience in the solar/renewable energy industry.
    • 6+ years of relevant experience in business development and/or sales.
    • Proven success selling EPC or related products and services to developers and IPPs for 5–50MW projects.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and results-driven.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to travel as needed to project sites and client meetings.


Salary Range:
$90,000–$110,000 + Commission
