Allied Universal®, a leading provider of security services, is seeking a Security Officer to join our team in Wichita, KS . This is an excellent opportunity to build a meaningful career with a company known for its commitment to safety, service, and professionalism.

Position Details:

• Location: Wichita, KS

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients across a range of industries, including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring site safety and compliance with security procedures

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter

• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and emergencies

• Follow all site-specific policies and protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience

• Valid driver’s license required and must meet Allied Universal’s Driver Policy standards

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor

• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
