Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., NIC, QAST)
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other relevant communication methods
• Prior experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic school environment
• Knowledge of educational policies and special education practices

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for deaf or hard of hearing students in classroom settings
