Responsibilities

An SAP PP Consultant is responsible for implementing and managing the SAP Production Planning module to support an organization’s manufacturing processes. This role involves understanding the business requirements, configuring the SAP PP module to meet those needs, and ensuring the system operates efficiently. The SAP PP Consultant works closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to optimize production planning and control.

In this role, you will be responsible to perform the following:

• Implementation and Configuration:
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the SAP PP module.
• Customize SAP PP settings to meet specific business requirements.
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and reports.
• Business Process Analysis:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes and requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide solutions using SAP PP.
• Conduct gap analysis and develop strategies to bridge gaps.
• System Integration:
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and WM (Warehouse Management).
• Work with technical teams to ensure proper integration with third-party systems.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to end-users and key stakeholders.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions.
• Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP PP-related issues.
• Project Management:
• Manage SAP PP implementation and upgrade projects.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay current with SAP PP best practices, new features, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process optimizations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

The project requirement is more enhance from SAP solution architect standpoint, who has at least 10 year of experience in SAP ECC, bring best practice used in MrP planning and execution.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant.
• Proven track record of successful SAP PP implementations and configurations.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP module and its integration with other SAP modules.
• Proficiency in SAP PP configuration and customization.
• Understanding of production planning processes and best practices.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
