*Job Title: Part-Time Contracted EMDR Group Facilitator*

A premier substance abuse treatment facility is seeking a skilled and empathetic EMDR Group Facilitator to join our Fort Lauderdale team on a part-time, contracted basis. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to individuals on their journey to recovery.

*Position Overview:*

The EMDR Group Facilitator will lead Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy groups, guiding clients through trauma-informed treatment that supports their mental health and recovery goals. This role is ideal for a certified EMDR practitioner with experience in group facilitation and a passion for helping individuals in recovery.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Facilitate EMDR therapy groups for clients in our treatment programs.

• Create a safe and supportive environment for group therapy participants.

• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Collaborate with the clinical team to support individualized treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines.

*Qualifications:*

*• EMDR certification is required.*

• *Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.*

• Licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) is preferred but not required.

• Experience facilitating therapy groups, particularly in a substance abuse or mental health setting, is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to create a compassionate and structured therapeutic environment.

*Compensation:*

• Competitive hourly rate (contracted position).
