Salary: 70-80K(DOE)
Travel: 1-2 times per month

Summary:
A Japanese company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager. This role is key to building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions. This role will excel in communication, negotiation, and customer service, while ensuring efficient collaboration with the Japan Headquarters to meet operational goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Account Management Operations
a. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the Americas.
b. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
c. Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to ensure competitive and profitable agreements.
d. Conduct follow-up calls and emails to ensure customer satisfaction.
e. Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and understand their business needs.
f. Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
2. Administration and others
a. Collaborate with Japan Headquarters to order necessary parts and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
b. Input sales, order and delivery data into the system.
c. Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
d. Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance to management.
e. Carry out other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Japanese.
· Exceptional sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Valid driver's license.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Maritime or a related field preferred.
· 3+ years account management experience of marine-related products preferred.
· Experience in logistics or (manufacturer’s) sales operations preferred.

Work Environment:
· Correspondence with clients, agents, head office, and other affiliate offices.
· Desk work for order, delivery, invoice, etc. through computer system.
· Travel for meetings with clients for communicating, negotiating and marketing.
· Preparing a nd attending trade shows
· Occasional meeting with Headquarters out of working hours due to time difference
